Pyar ek dhoka hai (Valentine's Day Special)

It was a small apartment with a bunch of people in there. A lot of noises coming out of the front door.
Shhhh!! One of them raised a hand and said, you're gonna get us out of the society.
Everyone fell still for a second and started discussing rather debating whether MBA is the ultimate career choice.
She was about to say something.. I think..
When a hand showed up right in front of her face and he said, You be quiet! I'll take it over from here.
She's used to being cut off by him during conversations. It's a way by which he protects her from being proved wrong by other people. You don't know how to talk to people, or what to say and when to say you'll make a fool of yourself, he used to say.

They've been together for 3 years now. Fighting their own battles and fighting each other too.
He never felt much like talking on the phone for hours but he had to. He used to scroll through his phone with his earphones on just to get past that daily 1 hour call before she sleeps.
He used to think if he's really in love or it's just something he has to do just to get laid. He wasn't sure if he knew what love was.

Their entire life was revolving around each other. All they used to do was hang out with each other.
She did all she could just to be with him while he was still trying to understand what actually love is.
I believe I should put in all efforts and not expect she used to argue
She used to take care of everything he didn't like. From her attire to food habits, her time at work, even her thoughts revolved around his interest.

3 years into the relationship sometimes she used to doubt her mere existence as an individual.
At some point she has sacrificed her family too just to take care of his ego.

It's been a year since then,
She was thinking all about how immature she used to be.
She's an independent women now. She can take her own decisions. This marriage is one of those.
She looked into the mirror, her dress looked amazing.
She knew her husband is nothing like him.

The Heroes (part 4)

Do read following before you read this..

http://ironiceuphoria.blogspot.in/2016/06/the-heroes-part-3.html

Introduction to the new world

As the door closes behind her, Anjali locked herself in her hostel's bathroom as her roommate walked in. It was late night almost 2 AM. She had her phone with her and she scooched herself in a corner. Her roommate, divya, banged the door a couple of times, and sat on the bed staring furiously at the door. Divya was Anjali's friend since last 3 years. A couple of years from school and her roommate from last 4 months they had a great time together. However the fact was that divya was a physopath. She suffered from obsession and sincere need to control over people's life which eventually made her violent when she couldn't achieve that and hence was the scenario stated above.

Anjali with her phone was scared and so texted one of his closest friends Nihal. Nihal was anjali's college buddy and best friend. In times of trouble all anjali used to do is text nihal and they used to talk all sorts of crap. the instant nihal texted back the conversation which made her forget that she was sitting in a bathroom with divya on the door but they slided over to another imaginary world of their own.
{NO! Neither Nihal nor Anjali were in love. This would not turn out to be a love story at any point of time. They shared a scacred bond people refer to as friendship.}
And so, their senseless talks went on for hours and couple of hours passed away, divya was asleep and so did anjali after going back to bed.
The next morning everything was fine. Divya wasn't drunk anymore, Anjali wasn't scared and Nihal was ready to go to college to meet Anjali once again.

Its weird how people you trust the most turns out to be the ones who'd be willing to exploit you for what they feel is right. Anjali is unaware of everything that's real but believes to live in a world where everything can be fixed and what can't be fixed could be escaped by engaging herself in something else, Nihal who was unaware what was he stepping into. On the other hand there was Divya about her there will be an entire story. Anjali who could have just abandoned divya the day she met her chose to stay, tolerate and tried to make her a better version of herself which will lead to lessons she'll(anjali) learn the hard way.

So to know what happens now and It'll be pretty soon this time, all you gotta do is

The Intersection

From the last two episodes you might know who are Saone and Anjali. Saone is a spoilt brat and anjali is the most beloved and the virtual heart of a traditional family.
Anjali who's 15 now and is a part of a cultural society whereas saone who's 17 and well is a obligation that the society has to carry along.
Anjali would have never met Saone if there wouldn't have been that one day...

"Vijayadashami also known as Dussehra"
As the wiki would say..
On this day Rama killed Ravana, who had abducted Rama's wife Sita to his kingdom Lanka. Rama, his brother Lakshmana, their disciple Hanuman and an army fought a battle to rescue Sita. The story is recorded in the Hindu epic, the Ramayana.
The day would end up with a little something in Anjali's life..

It was late evening almost everything went to dark but not the crowd in the Dussehra maidan of the city which was fully packed with almost the entire city waiting to see the "ravan dehan". It was one of those years when the municipal party had just won and they were celebrating their wisdom along with the festival by spending a huge sum, on the phenomenon which was about to start. And then it started what I'd say is burning of a wooden cracker filled statue leading to emission of rigorous sound & smoke creating huge flames of fire and hence grabbing everyone's still attention for the next 10 minutes.
Anjali among the crowd was mesemerised by the view of that sky high statue bursting to flames, A couple minutes passed when she felt her heart pounding as hard as possible, even after being pushed over & over by the crowd she couldn't take her eyes off the scene. Soon she somehow realized it wasn't the ravan dehan making her heart pound, and for the next couple of moments she almost fainted when she saw that it wasn't even the crowd that was pushing her back & forth, it was some guys hand right on his chest . Everything happened so fast that she couldn't react at that moment and was numb to what happened with her eyes filled and her body glued. Somehow she got off him and turned around to see who was he and felt this unbearable pain on her chest and before she could look the hand was lost among a number of cruel faces staring at her.
Her father who was right behind her buying those fabricated weapons didn't even knew what happened.
Scared and shocked, Anjali somehow get backs home. Too scared to talk to her parents about what happened all she did was swallow everything & move on.

.
.
.
A couple of years passed and anjali turned 22.

And I believe you all must have figured out why was it named "The Intersection"  all those who haven't. There's a hint... "Saone was a side story".

And Of course to know what happened next...

The Heroes (Part 2)

Do read following before reading this...

THE SIDE STORY

Shakespeare, William Shakespeare proposed that, and I quote “All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players” when he said them he was telling you to choose you roles wisely. It depends on you, that you want to be a hero or a side artist. I gave quite a thought to that quote about what it could be and then I concluded that I’ll agree to disagree.
Every side story is someone’s lead story.

So, this is the story of “Mr. Side artist 1” for the sake of convenience let’s call him Saone (You know what I did there). Saone is well not an ordinary boy. Born in a lower class family in the rural areas of India he turned 17 a couple of days ago. Well he didn’t study well and so now he is unemployed but he finds seasonal jobs for the fulfillment of his very “quite so often” alcohol parties. He has a family but not a kind he lives with. His father is a labor worker and spends most of his time on sites. His mother tried all what she could to keep him at the right path but she couldn’t. And then there’s his other brother to whom he didn’t talk in ages and another 3 more brothers and 4 more sisters.

Now, our Saone guy is not a good guy. Starting from his first class at school he bunked almost all of them. He used to smoke pot, and “beeddi” with his other friends, he also does part time pick pocketing and female abuse. And well as charity begins at home he tried that on his sister and got caught, was beaten to death but well, well, there he is. A seed so poisonous that can rip off an entire farm, a start (of a movie) so bad that its end would take the entire industry down.

Now, Is Saone the hero of his own story? And then what I realized was such side stories are not even worth happening. What if Saone would not have existed? Will it be any trouble for Anjali or things will turn out in an entire different direction.

Stay tuned…
